Congratulations on your engagement! The exciting journey to your wedding day has begun. Along the path to the big event, you will have many choices to make. Selecting a wedding photographer will be one of the most important. It is essential that you choose photographers who will focus on creating images that fit your vision. What is your photographic style? At FP, our photography style is a mix of documentary (photojournalism) and traditional imagery. On the documentary side, we focus on capturing the “moments that matter.” We define these moments as candid natural moments of shared love, joy and intimacy that reflect the emotions of the day. On the traditional side, we we work efficiently to arrange posed individual, couples and group images that are modern, stylish and fun.
Should we have a consultation prior to booking? Definitely! The consultation is an opportunity to get to know one another, ensure that we are a good fit for your wedding day, and provide us with an opportunity to discuss your expectations. Based on the information obtained at the consultation, we are able to focus our efforts on capturing images that fit your wedding day vision. If an in person consultation is not possible, we can meet online via Facetime or Skype.
What is your Pricing? We keep it simple with an easy to understand and no surprises pricing structure.
Destination and Intimate (small) Wedding– $1,200. This includes up to 4 hours of wedding day coverage, a custom USB drive with printable digital files, an online image gallery for sharing and from which you have the option to order prints and print products, and two photographers.
Elopements – $700 – Includes up to 3 hours of photography coverage, USB drive with printable digital files, an online image gallery for sharing and from which you have the option to order prints and print products, two photographers and a couples mini session.
Proposals – $500 – Includes up to 2 hours of photography coverage, a couples mini session, USB drive with printable digital files, and an online image gallery for sharing and from which you have the option to order prints and print products.
How long have you been in business? Mark, the lead photographer, began work as a professional portrait photographer in 2011. In 2016, he and his wife Sylvia teamed up and Fradella Photography was established. Working as a team, the duo began documenting weddings throughout Southeast Louisiana. In order to maintain outstanding personalized service, monthly wedding bookings for Fradella Photography are limited.
What type of photographic equipment do you use? The vast majority of photography equipment is manufactured by Sony. Mark’s primary camera is a Sony A7rii and Sylvia uses a Sony A99v. Both full frame cameras are paired with professional grade Sony lenses of varying focal lengths. Other standard equipment used for weddings include speed lights (flash), flash stands, light modifiers, flash triggers, reflectors, diffusers and constant light sources. In the event of equipment failure, we are always prepared with backup equipment on hand.
Do I need more than one photographer? Mark and Sylvia are a husband and wife photography team and always work together. They firmly believe that it takes at least two photographers to provide exceptional wedding coverage. Having two photographers all but ensures that key moments in the wedding will be recorded. It also allows us to capture images from different angles and perspectives.
Will my photos be edited? Yes. All photo editing is done in house. Each image is thoroughly analyzed and, if necessary, edited to achieve the appropriate exposure and white balance. Then the creativity begins as we utilize advanced software to apply dramatic yet natural looking effects to select images. When your wedding gallery is complete, you can expect to receive a mix of color, black and white, and if desired, sepia images.
How long will I have to wait for my images? On average, your images will have been fully edited and ready for viewing within three weeks of the wedding day.
Do you offer print products? Absolutely! Print products can be ordered simply and easily from your online gallery. While all of our wedding related services include high resolution digital image files on a USB drive for printing on your own, we know that designing albums, creating quality prints and designing wall art can be complicated and confusing. Our print product offerings include custom designed albums, professional quality mounted and standard prints, a variety of canvas art, thin wraps, framed prints, image clusters and folio boxes. All images are optimized by us for the selected product prior to submitting to a professional photo lab for production.
How many images will I receive? For Destination Weddings , Intimate Weddings, and Elopements, you can expect to receive 50-75 fully edited images per hour of coverage. For Proposals, on average you will receive between 40-60 fully edited images.
