The Dowell Family at Oak Alley Plantation – Jeremiah, Rebecca and their three wonderful children chose the perfect fall day to visit Oak Alley Plantation. Drawn to the site by the breathtaking oak trees and meticulously maintained grounds, the Dowell Family, visiting New Orleans from Kentucky, chose this historic plantation in Vacherie, Louisiana, for their family portrait session. It was a great choice. Cool breezes and sunny skies made for picture perfect conditions. As always, the grounds were meticulously maintained and the staff welcoming and quick to offer genuine smiles. It was a delight to watch as the family laughed and played amidst the ancient oak trees. Here are just a few images from this wonderful fall portrait session in Southeast Louisiana.
Vacation Fun with the Morse, Rooney and Lee Families. Working vacations do not get any better than this! We were privileged to have enjoyed seven fun filled days sailing on the Carnival Dream out of the port of New Orleans taking family and couples portraits. From the moment we arrived on the cruise ship, we knew that we were in store for exciting times with this great group. After navigating through some rough seas, compliments of tropical storm Cindy, it was smooth sailing with sun filled skies and warm breezes for the remainder of the trip. With three amazing ports of call, Roatan, Belize and Cozumel, there were plenty of activities to choose from. From scuba diving and snorkeling to carefree relaxation on the sandy white beaches, fun was had by all. We had a wonderful time, made new friends, and enjoyed capturing many of the families’ moments that matter. Here are a just a few of our favorite images from the trip.
Fradella Photography – New Orleans Wedding Photographers – Originally natives of the New Orleans Metro Area, Sylvia and I moved to Thibodaux in 1992. After 25 years working and living in the Tri-Parish Region, we recently packed our bags and moved back to the Big Easy. While we will always cherish the memories of raising our daughters and the wonderful times spent with friends and coworkers in Bayou Country, the time had come to return to our roots. While we will continue to provide photography services in the Bayou Region and the New Orleans Metro Area, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our service coverage area to include Slidell, Covington and Mandeville. At Fradella Photography, we offer a full menu of services for both indoor and outdoor (0ur specialty) weddings. When availability permits, we also provide general portrait services including senior casuals, family portraits, and event photography. Fun with the Allemand Family
Sylvia and I had a great time working with the Allemand Family in Houma, Louisiana. The day was perfect with a cool breeze blowing on a brisk sunny morning. Brandon and Meghan and all three of their beautiful children were fun and energetic. Here are just a few a few of their “moments that matter.”
Archuleta 50th Anniversary
Friends and family planned meticulously to ensure a memorable 50th anniversary surprise party for Mike and Dee Archuleta. Anticipating celebrating a granddaughter’s birthday, when the couple arrived they were instead stunned with shouts of “surprise” as they walked through the door. Their expressions were priceless. What a fun and festive evening as generations of family members and friends enjoyed some of Mike and Dee’s “moments that matter.” Congratulations to this wonderful couple on a marriage that has flourished for half a decade!
Mel and Scott will be saying their wedding vows very soon. They both have two children, each from prior relationships. The children, all teenagers, came along to be a part of their parents engagement session. It was quite clear, from the very beginning of our time together, that this is a family that is coming together as a unit. Everyone worked in unison to ensure a smooth morning session in the French Quarter.
